Septic Tank Replacement

Septic Tank Replacement in Ocala

When an old concrete tank cracks or a steel unit rusts through, it stops holding water and starts leaking raw effluent into the yard. Lionelsawyer removes the failed tank and sets a new watertight unit, most commonly a 1,000 to 1,500 gallon concrete, polyethylene, or fiberglass tank matched to your household size. We work fast because a leaking tank near SE Maricamp Road is a health hazard, not a someday project.

Why a Failing Tank Cannot Wait

A cracked tank lets groundwater in and untreated sewage out, which overloads the drainfield and contaminates the soil around it. Left alone, a bad tank turns a straightforward swap into a full system replacement. Catching it early, when you notice odor or a soggy spot, keeps the repair to the tank alone and protects the drainfield you already have.

Our Process

We locate and expose the existing tank, pump it dry, and remove it cleanly. We set the new tank level on a compacted bed, connect the Schedule 40 PVC inlet and outlet lines, install fresh baffles and an effluent filter, and seal the joints with butyl rope gasket. We add gasketed riser lids at grade so the next inspection and pump-out are simple, then backfill and grade the area off NE Jacksonville Road.
