Mark Gardberg is an associate in the Business Law Department of Lionel Sawyer & Collins, and brings more than eleven years of practice experience to the Firm.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Gardberg was an associate in a Miami, Florida law firm, where he represented clients in corporate and litigation matters including a variety of federal licensing, immigration law, and domestic law matters. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Gardberg was a Senior Legal Officer for the International Organization for Migration in Geneva, Switzerland, where he headed a unit that resolved 35,000 World War II-era property loss claims and distributed over $100 million to successful claimants. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Gardberg was an associate based in the Prague and New York City offices of an international law firm, where his practice involved representation of clients in a wide range of complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments and joint ventures, and real estate, intellectual property, and telecommunication matters. While with that firm, he also handled legal matters in Great Britain and a number of other European countries.
Mr. Gardberg has a functional knowledge of the Czech language.
