Administrative law, with a focus on public utilities and gaming
Katherine Hoffman is an associate in the firm's Gaming and Regulatory Law Department. Ms. Hoffman's practice focuses on regulatory matters before state and local agencies, with an emphasis on matters involving public utilities and gaming applicants and licensees.
During law school, Ms. Hoffman acted as a student attorney in the University of Colorado's Criminal Defense Clinic and was a judicial extern to the Honorable Brian E. Sandoval of the United States District Court, District of Nevada. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Procter R. Hug of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has been named by Nevada Business magazine as one of Nevada's "Legal Elite" for 2013.
